Privacy Policy
Last updated October 24, 2026
Monogram MD (“we”, “us”) lets professionals, mostly physicians, publish a digital business card, personal card and CV. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Not for patient health information
Monogram MD is a professional profile tool, not a medical records or patient communication service. We are not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate. Do not put patient names, diagnoses or any other protected health information in your card, links or CV.
Information you give us
- Account details: email address and sign-in information.
- Card and CV content: name, photo, titles, organizations, bio, phone numbers, addresses, links, work history and skills.
- Purchase details: our payment processor handles your card number. We receive only a confirmation, the amount and a customer reference.
Information about visitors to your card
When someone opens a public card, we record simple events: a view, a link click, a QR scan, a CV download or a saved contact, with the date and which card mode was used. We don't use advertising trackers or sell visitor data, and we don't follow visitors across other sites. Only the card owner can see these numbers.
What is public
Only fields you switch on for a mode appear on that card, and only after you publish. Your personal card is reachable only by its private link, which can expire. You can make any card or your CV private at any time.
How we use information
- To run the service: show your card, generate your QR code, contact file and PDF CV.
- To process your purchase and prevent fraud.
- To provide support and send essential account emails.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Service providers
We use trusted providers for hosting, database and file storage, sign-in, and payments (Stripe, which also handles sales tax). They process data only to provide those services to us.
Retention and deletion
We keep your content while your account is active. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your card, CV, photo and analytics, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Your photos are stored privately and shared through short-lived links. Access to your data is limited to your account. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password.
Your rights
You can view and edit your information in the studio at any time. Depending on where you live, including California and the EU, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data. Contact us to use them.
Children
Monogram MD is for professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
We'll update this page when the policy changes. We'll email you about significant changes.
